The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home was first established in 1908 as the Florida Methodist Orphanage. Since that time it has grown into a holistic organization serving abused, abandoned, and neglected children from across the state of Florida.

The Florida United Methodist Children's Home was established in 1908 to provide a home for orphans and other children that had nowhere else to live.
Today it serves as a diverse ministry with two campuses that include residential, therapeutic group, foster and emergency shelter care. The Home also provides independent living assistance and a community child care center.

The Madison Youth Ranch was opened in 2014 and offers children a rural, country setting in which they can roam, play, and heal. One of the outstanding programs at the Youth Ranch is the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) program with the assistance of Pinky and Sugar, our resident horses.
